Preparing an Institutional Review Board Protocol

This seminar will review the key aspects of proper protocol submission to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Directed to graduate students and postdocs, specific seminar topics will include the protocol submission process, required documentation, regulations, and strategies that can help investigators. The session will also delineate the actual workflow within the IRB system and how studies are processed by the Institutional Review Boards. This seminar is led by Vivienne Carrasco, MPH, CIP, Senior IRB Regulatory Analyst with the University of Miami’s Human Subjects Research Office (HSRO).
