She now manages a $184 million portfolio, transforming a hodgepodge of funded agencies into a powerful partnership between The Trust’s 80 direct staff members and the 2,500 staff members of those 230 funded agencies. She successfully launched 3 initiatives around capacity building, cross-funder collaboration, and innovation. Moreover, she completely transformed the IT infrastructure to reduce busy work allowing time for high impact, high value interactions with clients resulting in South Florida Business Journal awarding her CIO of the year 2019. Wendy-Ann Dixon-DuBois A.B. ’06 (Senior Manager of Key Stakeholder Communication @United Way Worldwide) Wendy-Ann Dixon-DuBois is a savvy communicator with a breadth of experience that spans education, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami and a Masters of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. After teaching elementary school in Miami through the Teach For America program, Wendy-Ann moved to Washington, DC to begin work in the nonprofit sector where she excelled in community engagement and outreach programming. In her current role at United Way Worldwide, the worlds largest nonprofit, she manages impact-focused communications and marketing for corporate partnerships and affinity groups. Abby Vicencio (Founder @Vicencio Endowed Fund for Pediatrics at the University of Miami) Abby and her family created the Alex, Abby, & Matteo Vicencio Endowed Fund for Pediatrics at the University of Miami as an instrument to fund ongoing pediatric needs for the University. Most recently, Abby and her family initiated a STEAM Labs project to bring STEAM Labs to underserved Miami-Dade County Public Schools elementary schools, including personally funding STEAM Labs at Silver Bluff Elementary School in Central Miami and Arcola Lakes Elementary School in Liberty City. Abby has served on many community boards including the University of Miami Estate and Planned Giving Advisory Board, the University of Miami Dean’s Advisory Committee for the School of Education & Human Development, Baptist Health Foundation, Ambassadors of Mercy Hospital, and Ambassadors Legacy Council of Miami Children’s Hospital.
